The Oregon State University Mathematics Department will host the 38th Annual Lonseth Lecture from 5-6 pm on Thursday, May 25 in Construction & Engineering Hall at the LaSells Stewart Center on the Corvallis campus of OSU. The lecture will be preceded by the department’s annual award ceremony beginning at 4:30. All are invited and a reception will follow.
We are pleased to welcome this year’s speaker Professor Corina Constantinescu (OSU PhD 2006). This marks the first time when one of our own program alumni has delivered the annual lecture! Dr. Constantinescu is Professor of Mathematics and Director of the Institute for Financial and Actuarial Mathematics at the University of Liverpool.
