Visiting/postdoc positions

The Mathematics Department invites applications for one full-time 12-month Postdoctoral Scholar position in Geometry/Topology beginning September 16, 2024. Renewal for one additional year is available pending satisfactory completion of assigned duties. The position carries a teaching load of three (3) quarter courses per year and is supported by a formal faculty mentoring program. Priority will be given to candidates that complete their application by January 8th, 2024.

Jobs for graduate students

We anticipate the availability of 12 to 18 graduate teaching assistantships for graduate students entering the Mathematics graduate program annually.

Jobs for undergraduate students

The Math Department is looking to hire undergraduate students annually for a paid position as a Math Learning Assistant (LA). We are hiring for classes that include, but are not limited to MTH 103, MTH 111, MTH 112, MTH 251, and MTH 252.

Instructor positions

The Oregon State University Mathematics Department typically invites applications in the Spring for multiple full-time positions at the rank of Instructor beginning the following Fall.
