Congratulations to Naren Vohra who placed second out of 63 in Lightning Talks presented by all summer interns at Los Alamos National Lab where he spent his summer 2022 as a fully supported intern in the group of Profs Lipnikov and Tokareva working on coupled systems of shallow water equations and unsaturated flow continuing his project from NSF MSGI in summer 2021.

Naren also received a travel award from American Mathematical Society, which, along with generous department support (thank you), will help in travel costs to the AMS Central States conference to be held in El Paso, TX, September 16-18 where he will deliver an invited talk.
