Professor Malgo Peszynska has been invited to give a lecture in the Journal of Engineering Mathematics Seminar Series. The Journal of Engineering Mathematics promotes the application of mathematics to problems from engineering and the applied sciences. Previous speakers include Prof. Linda Cummings from New Jersey Institute of Technology and Prof. Andrea L. Bertozzi from University of California, Los Angeles. Malgo will speak on "Modeling, analysis and simulation: methane hydrate in the subsurface" on Tuesday December 6 at 9:00 am Pacific.

Malgo will also be giving a plenary talk in the SIAM Geosciences Webinar Series on December 8th, at 9:00am Pacific on "Pore to Darcy to Field Scale. Seriously?''.
