PhD student Lisa Bigler receives travel support to present at a conference in Europe

Mathematics PhD student Lisa Bigler will present an invited talk on her research at ESCO, 8th European Seminar on Computing, to be held in Pilsen, Chech Republic in June 2022 within a minisymposium on "Advanced Computational Methods for Climate Modeling and Analysis". Her talk is titled "Multiscale modeling of thermal properties of permafrost with an outlook towards comprehensive multiphysics models." Lisa received College of Science Student Travel Award (COSSTA) to supplement the support from Mathematics Department and from Lisa's adviser's NSF grant. Congratulations and travel safe, Lisa!
