Common registration errors
"Prerequisite not yet met" registration error
The Math Department enforces prerequisites, at C- or better (with few exceptions), for all MTH courses. Learn more about course prerequisites, including the math placement score required.
- If you believe you have met the prerequisite, but are receiving a "Prerequisite not yet met" registration error, request a prerequisite override (e.g. C- or better in MTH 112, required to take MTH 251).
- If you took the ALEKS math placement test today, your test score may not yet be in the system. The scores are loaded twice daily, at 7:30am and 3:45pm. You should be able to register for your math class either after 3:45pm today or after 7:30am tomorrow.
